Customize Your Alerts & Controls

Rest assured, you can customize exactly what you want to be notified about with your debit or credit card. Set up alerts for transactions over a certain dollar amount or even for declined transactions. It’s all up to you!

Alerts & Controls

Want another level of security when it comes to your Mid Minnesota Visa Credit Card? Alerts and controls can do just that. Alerts can be initiated for any of the following:

  • Transactions that exceed a dollar amount determined by you
  • Available credit that falls below a dollar amount determined by you
  • Transactions with higher fraud risk, such as ATM cash withdrawals, International transactions, Gas station purchases, and Online Purchases (card not present)
  • Declined transactions
  • Put a temporary “hold” on card use
  • Lock and unlock your credit card in the MMFCU Mobile App which can protect you if your card is lost, stolen or you suspect fraud

Log into Online Banking or the Mobile App to set your alerts and controls.

Manage your cards

After logging into MMFCU’s Online Banking or Mobile App, go to the “Accounts” menu and select “Credit and Debit Card.” Then move the arrow over the card image to “Manage” each card determining the notifications you want to receive and/or limitations you want to set, options include:

  • International Transactions
  • Transaction Limits
  • Transaction Types
  • Merchant Types
  • Set Travel Notices,
  • Lock and Unlock your card if you temporarily misplace it or are concerned about charges, and
  • Make Balance Transfers.
