Teach Your Teens Money Moxie

Tuesday, August 10

5pm-6pm

Virtual by Zoom, pre-registration is required.


You'll learn methods to show your teens important money life skills and ways to match those money lessons to real life experiences from experts at Lutheran Social Services, a partner of MMFCU's in providing financial education for your financial well-being. Get started with tools that help your teen gain the knowledge and practical skills they need to develop good money habits. There is no cost to join the Zoom meeting, but pre-registration is required.

Minnesota State Fair Trip

Thursday, September 2

Join MMFCU at the Minnesota State Fair. We will travel together to the fairgrounds. We will not be stopping for breakfast, so feel free to bring coffee and a snack. Once we arrive at the fair you are free to explore on your own until 3pm. Members joining us should be physically fit enough to endure a substantial amount of walking, even if renting a scooter. 

Departure Locations

Aitkin: Depart from the Aitkin Office parking lot at 5:45am and meet the coach bus departing from Baxter. Return time will be approximately 7pm.

Alexandria: Depart from the Alexandria Office parking lot at 7:15am. Return time will be approximately 6pm. 

Baxter: Depart from the NE corner of the Walmart parking lot in Baxter at 6:30am (7295 Glory Road S, Baxter). Return time will be approximately 6:30pm. 

Little Falls: Depart from the NE corner of the Little Falls Walmart parking lot, at 7am (15091 18th St NE, Little Falls). Return time will be approximately 6pm. 

Sign up by using the button below, calling (218) 829-0371, or by visiting your local office by August 25. There are a limited number of seats available. Minimum number of attendees required for transportation from each location. 

Cost for Mid Minnesota members: $40 (includes fair admission and transportation) cash or checks made payable to MMFCU turned in the morning of departure. Non-members cost is: $50 (includes fair admission and transportation) and must be pre-paid. You can become a member by opening a $5 share account!

55+ Driver Improvement Refresher Classes

The Driver Improvement Program (55+) will give participants a better understanding of vehicle and traffic safety, new technology, physical changes, increased driving risks as we age, changes to laws, and the decisions drivers can make to be safer on our roadways.
