President's Message April 2023

In my house, we look forward annually to "March Madness." As a basketball family we love the competition, uncertainty, and eventual championship run that many times includes a Cinderella story. For me personally, it seems that, although anticipated, each year arrives more quickly than the last. That has certainly been the case in 2023, as I have joined the team at MMFCU. The weeks that I have spent with the Credit Union have flown by, and, to borrow the cliché' I have been enthralled by the "madness of March". For starters, I can report that MMFCU is off to an outstanding start to 2023, and I am blessed to be a part of a truly outstanding team of professionals who are committed to serving our membership to the best of our abilities. Once again - this year, we are glad to report that growth at the Credit Union (members, loans and deposits) are off to a great start. This is a testament to our dedicated employees, the Board, and our loyal members. When reflecting back on the past couple of years we learn to appreciate our ability to flourish during times of uncertainty and capitalize on the opportunities created by our cooperative strength to generate positive results for our members, and the Credit Union. The madness of March, and the months, quarters and year ahead create an energy and excitement of what's to come. I am confident that our team has the winning formula to work with you, our members, providing winning service and solutions.
