Protecting yourself and your information is crucial in today's connected world. Here are some tips to secure your online activities:
  • Use strong, unique passwords: Create complex passwords and consider a password manager for easy management.
  • Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA): Add extra layers of security to your accounts whenever possible. This takes an extra step when logging in, but also adds a layer of protection from the bad guys.
  • Keep software updated: Regularly update your operating system, applications, and antivirus software.
  • Beware of phishing emails: Verify senders and avoid clicking suspicious links or downloading unknown attachments.
  • Be cautious on public Wi-Fi: Avoid sensitive activities unless using a VPN or trusted networks.
  • Backup your data: Regularly store important files offline or in secure cloud storage.
Implementing these tips will greatly reduce the risk of becoming a victim and protect your personal information. Want to know more  or have a weekly financial wellness tip sent to you?
