Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of unpaid volunteers who take on a fiduciary responsibility in setting the direction of credit union policy and much more. The Board consists of members from the various communities through our Field of Membership. Ultimately, the Board of Directors govern and regulate the direction and choices made by the credit union Executive Management Team. The Board of Directors hold a three year term at which time they are up for reelection.
The primary function of your Supervisory Committee is to regularly audit all facets of the credit union, including financial management, administration, and operational practices. These volunteer members play an important role in our direction, ensuring the safety and security of your credit union funds. The Supervisory committee members hold a three year term at which time they are reappointed.
Community Advisory Council
Credit unions are community organizations, formed by and owned by our members. Keeping with this tradition, Mid Minnesota has formed Community Advisory Councils. These council members will serve as ambassadors for MMFCU – sharing information about our services while gathering vital input.
How to Apply for the above opportunities:
Technology Advisory Committee
Have you always been a fan of technology? Or, maybe you’re a slight critic? Either way, technology touches all of our lives, especially when it comes to our finances and how we access our money.
Mid Minnesota is always looking for ways to enhance our member’s experience. And, we’d like your help in doing so on our Technology Advisory Committee.
Due to the ever changing landscape of technology and the impact it has on how personal finances are handled; having a diverse group of members will likely provide valuable information. The main purpose of the Technology Advisory Committee is to participate in conversations with MMFCU management, make recommendations on current digital services, discuss obstacles challenging you, and to help with the future needs of our technology savvy members.
Our plan is to have the Technology Advisory Committee meet quarterly at our Baxter branch location. Each meeting will be held in the evening for approximately two hours. Dinner will be served! If you have any questions or would like to learn more, you can reach Chris Tangen, MMFCU Chief Technology Officer at (218) 829-0371 ext. 777 or via email at email@example.com
