Owe more on your home than the current value?
Great news - the Administration’s Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) allows more homeowners to refinance their mortgage and take advantage of lower interest rates. If you owe more than your home is worth, the recent HARP changes were designed specifically to help homeowners like you refinance your existing mortgage—and it’s the primary refinance option currently available for homeowners in this situation. You may be able to refinance your mortgage with the HARP program even if you have been previously declined for refinancing.
Take advantage of HARP and you could:
- Lower your payment
- Lower your interest rate
- Decrease your loan term and pay off your mortgage sooner
